WELCOME


THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
1. code format - most of my codes are in MP3 format.  That's my favorite music code format. Yes, it has the bonus of (a) being downloadable and (b) a code nearly everyone can use but it has it's drawbacks. 
    *If the code doesn't seem to load the whole song the first time, wait a few minutes then refresh the page and see if it works.  If it doesn't I copied part of a song... and you should say something to me about that.
    *If the code just isn't loading or gives you an error page it's broken and you should probably report it.

2. slight limitation: I don't do rap, pop, r& b, or really anything like that.  It's nothing personal to those of you that listen to it.  I'm sure it has some good songs, but I know nothing about it nor does it really interest me (no offense) but I will certainly take your requests in these genres.

3. yes, i AM a idiot: Here's you're warning, I really suck at spelling.  No lie.  I just figured out I've been doing my abc wrong a year ago.  Really, there's not much I can do about it since it's music and some things are just spelled wrong on purpose and spell check would be useless.  So I'm sorry my friends but all you can do is hope I spell it right and make sure you're kids turn out better than me.

4. finding things: For my mozilla people.  Go to edit 'Find in this page" and type in the band/song at the small area at the bottom of the page.  Sometimes I forget to add songs to the bottom if they're requested.  I think that might also work with internet explorer.

5. creepy factor: Yes... I visit your sites.  *Gasp*  I read you're weblogs! *oh no*  but I'm not some creepy stalker hiding in your closet with a polaroid camera talking pictures of you sleeping.  I'm weird but not that weird.  So god forbid if I go to your site and read... because we all know that's not what they're for! (being sarcastic).  This espically goes for music sites.  If you EVER put me on your jocking list for visiting your site I will throw such a huge fit that involves some straight flat bitch fighting.  Jocking lists are so incredibly stupid, and so is thinking I'm going to your site for that reason.  I visit because I'm insterested in it.  Espically if you have one cool music site like a lot of you do, or some spankin' awesome layout or quotes site. (LOVE quote sites.)  Or some of you are just incredibly funny, and I like to read your weblogs.  So chill,  I promise I'm not going to kill you.

MY RULES/PREFERENCES...
1. I'd rather you didn't jock! I'm not some freak whose is going to chase you with a kitchen knife if you do but... as the site has progressed I've had to make my own codes and do extensive searches and it just seems like a waste if you come and steal all of my hard work without giving me any credit.  But I'm not saying you have to put my site in big bolded text... just subscribe or something.  Or better yet talk to me.  I might think you're site is really cool and add it to my section below.

2. DO NOT ask for an album.  I'm not you're cd store... I feel bad enough about having as many codes on here for certain artists already, and I'm a really big push over so if you ask I'm going to have to get it and I'm going to feel really crappy about it.  For that matter BE RESPECTFUL OF THE ARTISTS!  They work hard to get where they are, and they deserve a little respect.  I'm not saying 'don't download!  It's sinful', I'm saying don't download they're whole frickin' album and then sell it to your friend.  I think if you really love music this goes without saying but just in case.

3. You can request without subscribing!  But if you really love me and/or the site you'll subscribe.  It makes me feel like all this work is worth it.

4. FOR REQUESTS:
*If you want me to get back to you SAY SO.  I don't do it unless you ask or unless i have some reason to/ we're buddies.
*I don't mind you being funny about it like calling me your bitch/dog/or whatever you're weird little minds come up with... but if your really mean to me... I'm going to ignore you.  But it takes a lot for me to get offended. 
*YOU CAN REQUEST MORE THAN ONCE!  I don't know what it is with this site but i have rarely ever had someone be mean to me.  And thus all of you are really sweet and are say things like "I'm sorry to bother you" or "i have one more request if that's okay?".  >< Have you SEEN my request board?  One more request is not going to kill me.  ^^ You guys have got to get pushy.  Be like I want another one bitch and i don't care what you have to say about it."  Seriously though... request as much as you need to.  Just keep in mind lists take longer.
*LOOK before you request.  I'll say if I already have it in my request box but still... saves us both some time.
*PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.  This is the thing that upsets me the most, DON'T request to me and then go to another site and request.  That's called going behind my back, and it hurts me.  I offer this as a free service and I LOVE doing this for you guys... and I love to feel needed and betrayal is a bitch.
*I love comments with body.  No offense to the people that just leave a request and the artist but um... that's really boring.  If you have a story behind it, I'll remember/want to find it more.

You have one of the BEST music code sites in all of xanga land. You should be proud. I'm good. A little pissed. I was suppose to go see FFTL this fall but the headliner (Atreyu) Kicked them off the tour because there was a fued. Sonny wasn't gonna get to sing anyway. His voice is going out again. But I am looking forward to spring tour. He'll be able to sing then.

This site has all the music I've been searching for the past 8 months! I couldn't find Imogen Heap/Frou Frou mp3's anywhere! Forget buying the cd, it's not anywhere near here(in Michigan). You have The Smiths too? And Tegan And Sara? Alright, I'm done, I'm not going to any other mp3 xanga again. Months of searching came to an end tonight. Thanks so much!
